DOB Collection
Designed by Juan Blas Doberti, the DOB furniture collection is the result of the work of various industrial designers who collaborated on its development.
DOB furniture is a signature design. The first pieces were created in the early 1990s, and they continue to be created tirelessly today.
Each new piece of furniture created adds to the DOB Collection. Juan Blas Doberti is the director of Estudio Doberti, with a long list of works in the fields of design and art, developing pieces, products, and projects with a singular vision.
His works can be found in different fields of action where a public sense prevails, integrating the product, the space, and its communication into the project.
The Heritage Fund of his work is part of the IDA Foundation's collection and is part of the Argentine National Design Collection and Archive.
Among his creations are five pieces that make up the Permanent Collection of Industrial Design of what was once the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, now called the Modern Museum.
His work is also part of the IDA Foundation's Permanent Collection, and several of his urban pieces have been awarded the Argentine Good Design Seal, issued by the Argentine National Government.
His works transcend furniture design and are oriented toward a public perspective: stage sets for television and shows; urban space equipment in many Argentine cities; public sculptures; a nationwide network of stations and vehicle charging station systems; and urban planning projects to transform Buenos Aires. With national reach in Argentina, various of his creations cross borders with Mexican television and appear in urban public spaces in Latin American and Spanish cities. His works have been exhibited in various international exhibitions within the fields of furniture design and art.
